Lake Como is ready to welcome FuoriConcorso from 21 to 22 May 2022, in the same period in which the Concorso d’Eleganza di Villa d’Este will take place and with a new unmissable edition. Collaborations with important museums and international foundations are what will enrich the event, to which a new prestigious location will be dedicated. The MAUTO - National Automobile Museum - founded in Turin in 1933 by Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia and opened to the public in 1960 - will inaugurate the institutional partnerships. The museum is fortunate to have one of the rarest and most interesting collections of its kind, with more than 200 original vehicles from 80 brands from all over the world, which is why it is the natural partner to embrace the exhibition dedicated to car enthusiasts. classic, youngtimer and contemporary.
The location where the selection from MAUTO will take place will be Villa Olmo, which will be added to Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota, all three ready to welcome the exceptional cars of the new edition of FuoriConcorso. Villa Olmo will be the home of museums and international foundations, in a historic location designed by the architect Simone Cantoni and considered one of the most beautiful Italian villas. And following this line, FuoriConcorso wants to give birth to Como Car Week which, taking cities such as Californian Pebble Beach and Goodwood as an example, aims to be a catalyst for tourism and the promotion of the territory.
